Group Reformer Class

 

WEDNESDAYS  5.30pm-6.30pm

 

SATURDAYS      9am-10am

 

Come and enjoy a full body workout on the Pilates Reformer. Weather your struggling with chronic back pain or are looking at getting stronger and more flexible the reformer classes at Rise offer a unique workout tailored to your individual needs.

The classes are a ratio of 2:1.


Prenatal on the Reformer 

 

 

FRIDAYS 6-7pm 

 

 

At Rise we see the countless benefits of exercising for mums-to-be, so we have selected exercise modifications on the Reformer so you can join us! We use current exercise guidelines provided by the ACOG. Workout safety and effectiveness remain paramount to us and the client’s risk factors pre-pregnancy fitness level, health concerns and fitness goals will all be taken in to account when joining the prenatal reformer class. 

The classes are a ratio of 1:1. 


Prenatal on the Mat

FRIDAYS            10am- 11am

At Rise we have modified our Mat classes so that Mums-to-be can join us in a wide range of Pilates focused exercises using flex band and balls. We use current exercise guidelines provided by the ACOG. Workout safety and effectiveness remain paramount to us and the client’s risk factors pre-pregnancy fitness level, health concerns and fitness goals will all be taken in to account when joining the prenatal Mat classes.

Being a new mum can really take its toll on the body. So here at Rise we have designed a really great class for you to enjoy with your new borns. Most women will be able to return to exercise from 4-6 weeks. The pilates based exercises will be focused on reactivating and stabilizing the pelvic floor, transversus abdominis and obliques as well as developing lumbo-pelvic stability. This gentle but effective workout might incorporate Toning Balls™ to get you back on the right track.
